Thomas is an M&A partner and the Crypto M&A leader for PwC Hong Kong, leading a team of M&A professionals focused on crypto fundraising and M&A advisory. Thomas specializes in advising digital asset natives, financial institutions and investors looking to enter or expand (through M&A) in the digital asset markets in Asia or farther afield.
With over 15 years of M&A experience, Thomas has diverse crypto M&A skills having performed market entry assessments, early-stage fundraising, buy and sell side M&A advisory, cross border deals, due diligence, and post deal integration projects. His passion is working with entrepreneurs and scale ups to achieve their growth and strategic objectives, leveraging his years of experience to help his clients navigate the complexities of the dynamic digital asset ecosystem.
Thomas spent the first 10 years of his career working in Australia before permanently relocating to Hong Kong to focus on Asia, serving a truly global client base. Thomas holds a Commerce degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Thomas’s clients include Asian based startups and venture capital funds, leading global financial institutions and growth / private equity funds, and public companies. In the past 24 months Thomas has advised on over 30 M&A transactions, including numerous cross border transactions, and early-stage fundraising projects.
